Visits

 

We are open for business as usual, no restrictions but we ask that our volunteers or visitors do not come into the facility if they are not feeling well.

 

Resident testing

 

All residents are tested during the intake physical with a Covid/FluA/FluB test. Negative tests = no restrictions and residents are classified to pods. Positive tests = residents are quarantined for 5 days and checked multiple times a day by medical staff. They are cleared from quarantine after 5 days and when symptom free. Pod mates or other residents that have been exposed quarantine for 5 days. Residents on quarantine must wear masks when outside of their housing unit and staff wear masks when near those residents/pods. We do symptom based testing so if a resident presents cold like symptoms they will be tested if determined by medial staff. Residents may request masks at any time.

 

Other info

 

We received a significant amount of products from the VDH through a grant, in partnership with Grainger, to continue to fight the spread of Covid. We have air purifiers, backpack spray sanitizers, wipes, gloves, PPE, etc. that were all provided free of charge (almost $200,000 worth!).
