Unified Reintegration Community Resource Center

The Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office is proud to introduce the Unified Reintegration Community Resource Center (URCRC), now open and serving the Roanoke Valley. This dedicated facility was established to support justice-involved individuals as they transition back into the community following incarceration.

Through strong partnerships with local community organizations, the URCRC offers access to essential reentry services, including job skills training, employment opportunities, job readiness workshops, life skills education, and additional supportive resources. These services are designed to reduce recidivism, promote accountability, and support long-term stability and success.
The Center is staffed by Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office personnel, who assist visitors, oversee facility operations, and coordinate partner services. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a daily closure from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch.

Community partners are encouraged to utilize the URCRC by providing reentry-related services to justice-involved individuals throughout the Roanoke Valley. Available resources include reservable office space, meeting rooms, and workstations, which may be scheduled through the Microsoft Shared Booking calendar.
