Reading PAW-trol
Build confidence and a love of reading with Paw-trol, a fun literacy program where children enjoy one-on-one reading time with trained therapy dogs in a calm, supportive environment. In short 15-minute sessions, young readers can practice aloud, tackle new words, and discover the joy of storytelling

About the Event
What is it?
An hour long reading literacy program with four 15 minute time slots. During these time slots, children will have one-on-one reading time with therapy dogs in a supportive and safe environment. This allows children the space to sound out unfamiliar words, conquer complex plots, and discover the power of storytelling.

By registering for the Reading Paw‑trol program, parents and guardians acknowledge that program staff and volunteers are responsible for supervising participating children only during their scheduled 15‑minute reading session with the certified therapy dog.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for their children before and after the designated session time, including arrival, departure, and any time spent elsewhere in the facility.
