On April 22, 2025 — Earth Day — the Roanoke City Sheriff's Office proudly launched C.L.E.A.N. (Collecting Litter & Enriching Areas Naturally) right here in Roanoke, Virginia.

Spearheaded by Sheriff Antonio Hash, this initiative was introduced as a way to give back to the community and promote environmental responsibility. C.L.E.A.N. isn’t just about picking up litter — it’s about building a cleaner, safer community while keeping our city beautiful for everyone.

Launched on Earth Day, this effort highlights the Sheriff's Office’s commitment to sustainability and civic pride.
