The Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office is proud to celebrate the 1st Quarter 2026 RIGNITE graduates. These men and women have made the decision to invest in themselves, put in the work, and take meaningful steps toward a stronger return to our community.

This quarter’s ceremony recognized participants from a wide range of programs designed to support recovery, growth, and successful reentry:

Each certificate represents hours of commitment, difficult conversations, and a willingness to choose a different path. We are grateful to the staff, volunteers, and community partners who continue to pour into this work and make these opportunities possible.

Reentry starts long before release, and programs like (R)IGNITE help ensure that when individuals return home, they do so with tools, support, and hope for what’s ahead.
