🚨 GRAND OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
🎉 Unified Reintegration Community Resource Center 🎉
Yesterday, on Wednesday July 30th, 2025, marks a major step forward in community support and second chances! The Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the grand opening of the Unified Reintegration Community Resource Center—a one-stop hub to support individuals returning to our community after incarceration.
This center offers more than just resources—it serves as a satellite site for partner organizations to connect, collaborate, and reach those who may not otherwise know where to turn. Sheriff Antonio D. Hash sees this as a launchpad for opportunity, where connection, community, and compassion are the keys to lasting reintegration.
👏 A huge THANK YOU to:
Mayor Joe Cobb and TAP President & CEO Angela Penn for their inspiring words and support. Generous sponsors for donating office essentials: Schewels Home, The Home Depot, Greater Roanoke Workforce Development Board, and Harris Office Furniture Co. Inc. Our dedicated community, staff, and partners who brought this vision to life, and Mecklenburg County (NC) Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff McFadden for traveling to show their support.
The center is available Monday–Friday | 8 AM–5 PM
Stay tuned for our community calendar and a new partnership announcement coming soon!
