Investing in Tomorrow’s Leaders

The Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office Community Engagement Team recently spent time with students in the Community Builders program at James Madison Middle School. Community Builders is designed to help eighth graders grow as leaders, build new skills, and make a positive impact right here in our community, and we were honored to be part of that mission.

During our visit, students were introduced to the basics of CPR, giving them hands-on exposure to a life-saving skill that empowers them to act with confidence in an emergency. Investing time with our youth today helps build a stronger, safer community tomorrow, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside these future leaders.
