Roanoke City Sheriff's Office Receives 2024 PRSA Summit Award for Community Partnerships Campaign

On February 27, 2025, The Roanoke City Sheriff's Office was announced as a winner of a 2024 PRSA Summit Award. We are honored that our projects and commitment to providing information to the public are received in such a positive manner and that we are recognized for our efforts.

We received an award in the CAMPAIGNS DIVISION Community Partnerships Silver: Meet the SROs campaign - Roanoke City Sheriff's Office Department.

Thanks to our Community Relations Specialist/PIO, School Friends, and the collaboration with Roanoke Valley Television, we were able to introduce our SROs in a fun and engaging way. Thank you Public Relations Society of America Blue Ridge!
